FarazPsd Portfolio
A portfolio site for Faraz, a video editor and graphic designer
Solo — design & front-end (client project) · April 2026 · personal

overview
I built a portfolio site for Faraz, a video editor and graphic designer based in Aligarh. The site presents his YouTube reach, his current role at Image Classes Aligarh, the services he offers, and direct ways to contact him. It is built with Next.js and deployed on Vercel.
problem
Faraz's work mostly lives on YouTube and Instagram, spread across channels he edits for. He needed one page he could send to potential freelance clients that sums up who he is, what he does and how big his audience is, and gets them to message him quickly.
approach
- 01I built a single-page Next.js site with a short hero line, "Frames that speak. Designs that move.", followed by About, a By the Numbers stats section, his current position, Services and Contact.
- 02I put his audience numbers (148K+ YouTube subscribers, 18M+ views) in both the stats section and the page meta description, since that is the first thing a client looks for.
- 03I listed eight service areas: video editing, motion graphics, graphic design, YouTube thumbnails, color grading, visual identity, social media content and typography.
- 04I pointed the contact section at the channels he actually replies on: Instagram DMs, his YouTube channel and a WhatsApp link, instead of a contact form.
features
Stats section
Subscriber and view counts shown in a By the Numbers block.
Services list
Eight service categories from video editing to typography.
Current role
His position as videographer, editor and graphic designer at Image Classes Aligarh.
Direct contact
Instagram, YouTube and WhatsApp links in a "Let's create something great" section.
Search metadata
A descriptive title and meta description that mention his reach and freelance availability.
challenges
Selling reach, not a gallery
Most of his work belongs to the channels he edits for, so there isn't a clean gallery of owned pieces. I led with audience numbers, role and services instead of a project grid.
outcome
The site is live at farazpsd.vercel.app and gives Faraz one link to share with clients, with WhatsApp and Instagram one tap away.
